Matka oli menestys – mukaan lähti perävaunullinen taimia, kohtuulliseen hintaan. Tämä tapahtui siis elokuussa ennen varsinaista syysistutussesonkia ja alennusmyyntejä.

Taimiteutarin jälkeen kävimme tyhjentämässä Tammiston Plantagenin timanttituijista. Hyödynsimme tarjouksen 4 kpl 100 € ja mukaan lähti 24 kpl noin 140 – 160 cm korkeita taimia. Pakkaa täydentämään teimme vielä hankintamatkan Pirilän Kukkataloon Tuusulassa ja mukaan lähti – jälleen mukava tarjouserä – matalampia timanttituijia, kolme marjakuusta sekä vuorimäntyjä.

Kaikkiaan kasveja on tähän mennessä hankittu noin 1500 €:n arvosta, mikä on tietysti vasta alkusoittoa. Ensi keväänä panostamme sitten itäisen raja-alueen istutuksiin sekä perennoihin. Nyt on kuitenkin suurimmat puut hankittu ja rakennustarkastajakin lienee tyytyväinen kun lopputarkastusvaiheessa (sitten joskus) pihaltamme pitäisi löytyä riittävä määrä vähintään 150 cm korkeita puita.
