Kuten eilen kerroin, Tom Allenin kaverit tulivat asentamaan maalämpöpumppua. Lämpökaivohan porattiin jo aiemmin syksyllä ja lattialämmitysputket asennettiin ennen lattiavalua joulukuussa. Eilen oli siis vuorossa maalämpöpumpun asennnus tekniseen tilaan ja keruuputkiston asennus porakaivoon, sekä näiden kaikkien kytkentä toisiinsa ja sähköihin. Homma menikin lähes kuten elokuvissa. Sähköpuolella oli pientä säätöä, mutta ei mitään mitä Terawatin sähkömies olisi saanut ratkaistua.

Lämpöä imetään maan sisältä tästä reiästä:

Laatoitusten ollessa käynnissä osa lämmityspiireistä joudutaan vielä pitämään suljettuna. Myös lämmityksen lämpötila pidetään toistaiseksi alhaalla. Käyttövettäkään ei ole vielä kytketty vesivaraajaan. Kunhan laatoitukset ovat valmistuneet ja saaneet hetken kuivua, avataan kaikki piirit ja aletaan pikkuhiljaa nostamaan lämpötilaa. Sitten varmaan kytketään käyttövesikin ja maalämpö pääsee lämmittämään sitäkin.

Suuret kiitokset Tom Allenille. Koko projekti meni sujuvasti avaimet käteen tyylillä ja aikataulutkin pitivät. Vain kaivonrengas asennuksineen ja sähkötyöt piti hoitaa muualta, muuten Tom Allen teki kaiken. Meidän ei tarvinnut kanniskella pumppua ja asentajat veivät roskatkin mennessään. Valitsimmekin Tom Allenin osittain sen takia että koko paketti tuli samalta taholta; poraus, lattialämmitys, pumppu ja asennukset. Jos tulee ongelmia, ei tarvitse miettiä ja taistella siitä kenelle se kuuluu. Muita syitä Tom Allenin valintaan olivat koko lämmitysjärjestelmän viiden vuoden takuu ja tarjous jonka hintaa ei painettu keinotekoisesti alaspäin alimitoitetulla pumpulla.
